Our Visit to see Santa this year...and Bass Pro Shop does NOT disappoint! We always try to go the first Monday night in December and we NEVER have to wait! This year they had a free carousel ride too! Our kids could not wait to tell Santa what they wanted this year!

We took a trip to Utah - SLC and St. George to spend time with family and attend my Brother's wedding, ( pics of wedding to come soon ) We did LOTS of stuff like having Thanksgiving Dinner early, making ornaments for Grandma's tree, LOTS OF SHOPPING, and EATING, playing games, taffy pulling, The "UP" house and watching Uncle Jeremy fly home in his helicopter! Had SOOOO much fun! Can't wait to do it again!

We have been BUSY, BUSY, BUSY already this SuMmEr~ We have been making frequent stops at our new public library to do the summer reading program and play in the cockpit of a plane that they have right in the middle of the library! We have been to the zoo and summer kids bowling and the summer movie program at our local theatre and of course swimming in the back yard! So glad summer decided to show up!

He did it....Santa pulled through for these little munchkins! And they were absolutley overjoyed! We did the usual and got new pj's on Christmas Eve, then decorated cookies for santa and sprinkled reindeer food for his reindeer....then off to look at christmas lights and then tucked into bed....Up in the morning to see what he had brought....These munchkins were LUCKY this year!

My Birthday this year was OVER THE TOP! It started actually the night before when my SWEET husband surprised me with the BEST gift ever!!! Then my friends showed up to make me breakfast, I got tons of treats(carmel apples are my fav....) Homemade cheesecake..dinner for my family and then a date that night with my husband and some friends to Texas de Brazil! Just when I thought all the surprises were over I showed up to a "girls night out" and it just happened to be a surprise b-day party with friends! Thank you to ALL who made my day so special! The CIRCUS Parade....NOT!

The Circus is here in Denver and they advertised to come see the arrival of the CIRCUS in a parade of the animals in downtown Denver...SO A bunch of friends decided we should make a trip to see what it was all about! IT WAS SOOOO DISAPPOINTING~ It started 2 hours late, was SO hot outside and all it was were a few elephants that walked down the street! The kids thought it was neat but the Moms were Very disappointed! The highlight for me was the kids holding their ears when the trains blew there whistles!!

Our 2 Week Vacation to Northern and Southern Utah!

We just returned home from a two week trip to Northern and Southern Utah! We had some super exciting things going on this trip which included Jordan's Baptism and Tonia's temple day! We were able to see lots of our family and spend lots of quality time together! We also learned that we will have a brand new cousin soon! Congrats Mandee and Jeremy! We are so proud of Jordan and Tonia for these special moments we got to share with you!!!!

This year for the 4th of July Darrick's Dad came for a visit. We headed to Canon City and Howard Colorado to visit Darrick's Cousin Kelley and experience River country... this time with out actually getting in the river! We went to the Royal Gorge and rode the little train out to the edge, watched the rafters go down the river and saw some pretty good fireworks in a baseball field we almost had to ourselves!

So Today here in Colorado we had some CRAZY weather yet again! All of these photos were posted on a local weather news station but I couldn't believe how extremely CLOSE the tornado was to US! The first 2 pics were taken from a neighborhood just to the east of ours and the 3rd photo was taken north of us! SUPER SCARY! There was SEVERE Hail damage to cars and houses as well, we didn't get much hail here but it was like golf ball size and it piled up to almost a foot in some places, they had to bring out the snowplows to clear the roads! AAAAHHH~

I Really Love that we are out of the Month of January and on to February. Lots of people don't enjoy this month or celebrating valentines day but I rather like it! ( I love celebrating any holiday for that matter ) I started doing the 14 days of valentines for my sweetheart many many years ago and since we have had our kiddos I do it for them too! It is so fun for them to go to their mailbox every morning and see what treat Mom left for them! I love my little Family so much and their SMILES are PRICELESS!

We had already celebrated Kennedie's birthday with a friend party at the beginning of December because a lot of our friends go out of town for the holidays but we had a little celebration tonight with "Wendy's" for dinner ( Birthday Girls choice) and a few gifts and brownies and ice cream! Thanks Aunt Tonia, Uncle Schon, Brandon and Jordan for the Ariel Doll.....LOVE IT! (as you can see she is trying to peak at what "princess" it is before she could even get the wrapping off)

Today Our Kennedie turns the BIG 4 Years old! What can I say except I can hardly believe it! She is such a sweet, smart, funny, cute, lovable, Girly Girl and when I say Girly Girl I mean dress ups, tea parties, make-up, princesses and she loves to do anything "crafty"....if it's PINK or has anything to do with princesses Kennedie knows about it! And she is definitely a FIRECRACKER! Our lives just wouldn't be the same if our little girl wasn't in it! Mommy and Daddy love you Miss Kennedie and hope you have a Happy Birthday!

2009 Has been a Super, Fun, Exciting year. Santa was really good to us and brought us what we asked for this year! Kennedie asked for a Swim to me Puppy and Andrew wanted a new bike! YEAH! Yesterday it snowed ALL day which guaranteed us a a WHITE CHRISTMAS! So today we went outside to shovel and play. And yes my kids think snow TASTES wonderful! Funny huh, I use to think so when I was a kid too! Now we are scurrying to get the house ready for Santa's arrival!

Kennedie and I went on a Mommy/Daughter Date last Saturday to see Disney On Ice...Worlds of Fantasy! We had so much fun. They had a princess preview before the show so we got to see Cinderella and Princess Tiana from Princess and the Frog! Thanks for the fun day Sis! Mom loves you!

Look Who's Two!

2 Years ago today our sweet Andrew was born! We had lots of family here to welcome him into the world and a planned C-section so we were up early and it was cold! I was a bundle of nerves...Go figure...but we were excited to bring this adorable little boy home! He has grown like a weed over the past year and taken on his cute personality. His vocabulary has gotten so much bigger in the past few months and we love that we can communicate with him! He loves cars and trucks and his BIG sister too! Happy Birthday ANDREW, we LOVE you!

Today we celebrated both Kennedie and Andrew's Birthdays with our Friends! Andrew's Birthday is tomorrow and Kennedie's is not until the 28th of December but a lot of her friends go out of town for the holidays and they don't get to come celebrate.....so this year we celebrated them together. Kennedie wanted my little pony and Andrew loves Toy Story so that's what we did! Thanks to all of our friends who came to celebrate and especially for all the awesome gifts! You are all the BEST!

Seeing Santa

Our kiddos were so excited to see Santa this year, especially Kennedie, she couldn't wait to tell him what she wanted this year, "A Swim to me Puppy"! "We'll see what we can do" Santa told her! Just remember Kennedie and Andrew.....you have to stay on the "Nice" list so Santa can bring you the things that you asked for!

Some friends of mine decided we should take our girls to see a local High School Production of Beauty and the Beast and Kennedie could not WAIT! Anything that has to do with a Princess and she's all about it. She sat for the entire show! That's my girl.......Lovin the musicals!!!
