Our Family Photo Shoot and Andrew's 9 months photo

Instead of Me being behind the camera, my good friend Courtney took the role and did a Family photo shoot for us on Saturday! Can you say AMAZING! She is super talented and deserves a round of applause for dealing with our 2 non cooperative stinkers! But we did manage to get some pretty good shots and I am so excited about it! THANKS COURTNEY!

Andrew's 8 month photo shoot

So I'm a few weeks behind on posting Andrew's monthly pictures but I am trying to catch up so ...here they are! He bumped his head just before I sat him down to take them but that's what kids do best right? I just love this last picture, I can just picture him saying " I'm outta here Mom!" He is such a fun little boy, getting into everything and climbing everywhere! I'm sure it won't be long before he is walking! Look out world, here I come! 9 Month photos to come soon.

A photo shoot for Ethan

Today I was able to do a quick photo shoot for the Wright's little boy Ethan! He just turned 2 years old and they asked me to take his pictures to document this milestone! What a good little subject he was! We got some really cute shots....check them out at

Trip to Hammond's Candy Factory and Steamboat Springs

Last week for our Joy School Activity we went on a tour of the Hammond's Candy Factory! It was a lot of fun! Especially for the kids. Kennedie's favorite part was eating the candy for sure!

Then we got to take a trip to Steamboat Springs for the weekend. Darrick's friend was getting married at the Grand Hotel there and we had so much fun! The food was awesome and so was the company! The picture of Kennedie was really the only one that was half way decent, she doesn't like to cooperate with the picture taking thing lately but I did want to give a shout out to one of my Friends Lang Fender for teaching me how to sew! I made the cute little dress that Kennedie is wearing! , Thanks Lang and Thanks to Daddy for the Trip!

Our Road Trip

We had a BLAST on our Road trip to Utah! We went to SLC first and spent some time with Grandma and Grandpa Lawyer, our Aunt Jackie and Cousin Jackson and Uncle Tom and Aunt Jackie. Kennedie got her very first haircut. Good Job Kennedie for sitting still for Jackie! We had fun Eating out and Crafting together! Thanks for the good times Everyone!

Next we headed to see some of my extended family. My Aunt JaNean, Uncle Tim, Cousins Monica and her family, Jeremy and his family, Corey and his family. My sister and her family drove from Missouri as well and my parents came up to SLC to see them so it was a big "shindig" !! We probably won't all be together again for awhile so we took advantage and did some family photo shoots!

Then We headed down south to SCORCHING HOT St. George! First we went to my niece Remington's B-day party where Kennedie got to run and play with lots of her cousins!! Hope you had a SUPER day Rem! Then It was Andrew's turn for his first haircut...We didn't get a lot done, Andrew didn't like the clippers too much! Thanks Jackie for taking time out to cut all of our hair! You're the best!

Next...off to Darrick's cousin Rod's house where we got to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa Webster and have a BBQ and a little fun too! OOOPS! We might be in trouble Kennedie enjoyed the rides as much as her Daddy did!

We got to go and visit Uncle Tom at the his Fire station, Kennedie loved climbing on all the fire trucks...but most of all she loved Pierce the Dalmatian fire dog!

My brother and his family live in a little city just north of St. George called Hurricane and they celebrate Peach Days every year. Jeff was in a production that celebrates the building of the Hurricane canal called Come and See Our Valley and so we got to see it while we were there! Good Job Borden!!!!

My attempt at a quick photo shoot with my kids....usually it is Kennedie that doesn't want to participate but this time it was our little Andrew....what a sad little boy!

I also got to take some family photos for my brother and his wife and kids! St. George has some gorgeous scenery and I had lots of fun doing it! I really like how they turned out. Many thanks to you all who let us stay with you and play with you! Mom and Dad you guys our the best! My favorite part of the trip was the family slide show! That just reminded me that I must have got my quirks for photography from my dad! Thanks Dad! We got to see many good friends while we were there and spend lots of time with Grandparents and Family. Kennedie just loved getting to play with her cousins!
