Halloween Costumes....in progress

So I decided I would try making costumes this year...Turned out pretty cute! Now I am making me a matching one and I have Andrews to do...his is pretty simple, He is going to be our little vampire this year....just need to alter a cape,make a sash and get a white shirt and black pants,and hair color and then look out trick or treaters....here we come!

California Dreaming!

We just returned from our Vacation to California.....and we had a BLAST! We spent a day at "The Happiest Place on Earth"...Disneyland and our kids really enjoyed it, especially Kennedie! Meeting the Princesses was the highlight of her trip and Darrick and I loved seeing how happy it made her! Then we headed out to see Darrick's brother and his family....Mike and Sara, Thanks for the hospitality guys...we owe you! We loved meeting our little cousins and spending time at the beach and just hanging out. Darrick's youngest brother Tom and his wife Jackie made the trek down to spend time with us also and we had so much fun at the beach and the farm...you guys know my kids adore you! Thanks for everything it's a trip we won't FORGET!

A visit from Aunt Jackie!

Jackie came to our house to visit over the Labor Day weekend and we had a blast! We headed up to Tiny Town and had a picnic, ate out WAY TOO much, shopped, shopped and shopped some more, got our hair done, (everyone got a haircut or color-Thanks Jack! You're the Best!) and got to spend lots of quality time together...Looking forward to seeing Jackie and Uncle Tom in a few days!
