Sick Kiddos

So this week has been a tough one. We got home from our trip and went to church on Sunday and then early Monday morning the SICKNESS started! Thanks to all my friends who have been so kind to do my grocery shopping, bring dinner and call to see how they could help me out! I have a SUPER bunch of friends! We are however on the down slope and have started to return to our normal schedule....if you can call our schedule normal! Thanks to Grandma Lawyer who sent us new P.J's this week, they sure have come in handy!

Our Trip to Springfield, Missouri

For My birthday Darrick let me book a trip to go visit my sister and her family in their new home in Springfield Missouri. My Parents flew out to meet us and join in the fun! We got to visit Branson MO and see the sites there, had a YUMMY lunch, Thanks Dad and saw a cool water and fire tribute to the Armed Forces. The kids got to go to Build a Bear and make wishes at the fountains. One of our favorite things to do this time of year is make carmel apples and Kennedie was a super helper! Andrew was always into mischief and even got a haircut from Grandpa! Then it was off to the pumpkin patch for an afternoon! Kennedie's favorite part was riding the pony named Ginger! We went through the corn maze, went on a hay ride and picked out some pumpkins, did some painting and got some pretty cool pictures! I just love this time of year! Thanks Darrick for the trip and Thanks Tonia, Schon, Brandon and Jordan for the hospitality we already miss you!

Happy Birthday to Me

So yesterday was my Birthday and I just wanted to say Thanks to my friends and family who made it such a great day! My Friend Michelle and her cute kiddos brought breakfast and sang to me and then we went to lunch at the Olive Garden with some friends to celebrate October birthdays mmmm...so yummy. Then Darrick brought home a birthday cake and My friends brought over a homemade apple pie, Thanks Chrissy and Courtney. I have a great bunch of friends and family who made my birthday a great one!

LAUNDRY

So I put the laundry basket on the floor so I could sit and fold clothes the other night and my kids got to it before I did....OH...the joys of motherhood!
